CICYTTP (Centro de Investigación Científica y de Transferencia Tecnológica a la Producción)
The CICYTTP (CONICET-Prov. ER-UADER) focuses on research on Natural Sciences, mainly in the Entre Ríos province and optimizes actions to promote technology transfer in the different specialities. The main goals are to carry out basic and applied research in the areas of Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences and Archaeology. The CICYTTP develops diverse research, which encompasses the following subject areas: Modern palynology, Archaeology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Vegetation Ecology, Animal Ecology and Animal Production, Entomology, Insect Biology, Quaternary Plains Geology, Herpetology, Ornithology and Conservation, Palynostratigraphy, Paleobotany, and Vertebrate Paleontology. The CICYTTP has a communication area, the Espacio D- Ciencia, that generates links with scientific-educational institutions and the local community. Moreover, the CICYTTP researchers advises on the conservation, management, and protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage of the Entre Ríos province, on the control of crop pest insects, and on molecular biology and genetics.
